Must Love ME!!

exam haven't finish... sunday... and tomorow is my last exam and holiday start at 4pm..=]
today been such a blessing for me and my spiritual life.. is awakening alarm for me.. ps. sukirno from indonesia come and spread the word of God in our church and truly he spread God's desire and wants to my life and for sure He wants the same thing for your life=]

the sermon came from luke 14:25-35..

there is a story about two traveler who travel in a hot air balloon. they carry so much things so, the balloon is heavy and that's how they control the balloon. to help then to reach t the destinastion they need to throw their 'valuable' things. first thing that they throw was magazines, then a portable chair.. and many more.. till finally they need to throw their drinking water that is so important for them. our christian life is like that, God wants us to focus on Him and LOVE HIM ONLY! we cant love this earthly thing while we want to love God in the same time. we as human being always have so many wish list and always wants this and that. while we having our long list and seek God, pray to Him and ask Him to fulfill our list, in our mind we always set that God need to fulfill the list. but we forget that God's answer to a pray is not always yes, can sometime be no and may be or hold on. at this point we start to get upset when we know that God's answer is no. we never realize that the long list that we made is a WANT list not a NEEDS. God not only knows the good for us but the BEST!

when we set our life to God, we need to pay the cost! what cost? isnt that being a follower of Jesus is free? and He already pay everything for us on the cross? hah?? =/

YES! follow Jesus we dont need to pay anything in Money.. but, we need to pay the cost like time, family and etc. for example you need to have a relationship with God by Praying and you need to spare your time to pray! may be at the time where you facebooking, watching tv or drama, can be any of your valuable time. you need to give up things that is 'important' for you.

following Jesus you need to be the salt and light to the world. The scripture says that what is the purpose of being christian indeed we need to be a salt and bring impact to the world but, in fact we fail. the salt is tasteless and we are just the same as others. who goes clubbing, gossiping, and etc. this is the cost that God's talking about. for example when group of people start to gossips, then you came, whats their reaction? 1) they will come ask you to join because they know that you are a good gossipers? or 2) they will tell others to stop, because they know you dont like to gossips and people respect you.

this sermon really kick me off and wake me up! lord i pray, forgive me that i haven't be a good sheep and daughter to you, help me and guide me according to your will.

i hope this can bless you guys and keep following God, yes, we need to pay the cost but, the reward is much more!!! He promise for an eternal life! what can we ask for more? =]]
